According to the Law of Obligations Act, a consumer (private individual) can withdraw from a contract concluded by means of distance communication within 14 days. In the case of goods ordered from the e-shop of heasoojus.ee, the time limit starts from the day when the goods are delivered to the consumer, unless otherwise provided for by the Law of Obligations Act.
When exercising the 14-day right of withdrawal, the provisions of the Law of Obligations Act and the terms of use of heasoojus.ee must be observed. The consumer must observe the consumer’s obligations as laid down in § 562 of the Law of Obligations Act when exercising the right of withdrawal. In the case of deterioration of the goods to be returned, the consumer is liable for the depreciation of the goods as a result of their use, if he has used the goods in a way other than that necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
In order to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, the consumer should handle and use the goods only as he would normally be allowed to do in a shop. In order to withdraw from the contract or to exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must submit a notification to heasoojus.ee. The notification must be sent by e-mail to info@heasoojus.ee
In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the consumer must return the purchased goods without delay, but no later than 14 days after the notification of withdrawal.
Attention! When returning the goods, make sure that everything is correctly packaged and that there is no risk of the goods being damaged in transit. Goods that arrive at the customer’s premises in a package that has been taken apart must also be taken apart and packaged in the same way as when they were dispatched to the customer. By exercising the 14-day right of withdrawal, the consumer bears the direct costs of returning the goods to heasoojus.ee.
The total amount paid for the products (including the transport costs) shall be refunded to the Customer within 14 days from the date on which the Customer has returned to heasoojus.ee the goods that were the subject of the contract or has provided proof of return of the goods. The money will be refunded by bank transfer to the bank account from which the transaction was carried out, unless the Seller and the Customer agree otherwise.

The time limit for lodging a complaint is 2 years. Please note that if defects appear in the goods within 6 months of purchase, they are presumed to have existed at the time of purchase unless the seller proves otherwise.
After the 6-month period, the onus is on the consumer to prove that the defect is a manufacturing defect and not a defect caused by the consumer’s own misuse.
